Marie will be taking part in the Pat Conroy Literary Center’s annual Lowcountry Book Club Convention on Saturday, September 27th. Stay tuned for details. 

Marie will be speaking to the Everett Woman’s Club on Wednesday, October 8th at the Everett Public Library, 2702 Hoyt Ave, Everett, Washington. The meeting begins at noon. Marie will speak at 1pm and sign books afterwards. Books will be available for purchase at the event.

Please join Marie and five other nationally recognized authors at 2025 The Guilded Leaf, hosted by the Carmel Clay Public Library Foundation Guild. The Guilded Leaf is the Foundation’s signature annual fundraising event and helps support the library’s programs for all ages.

Marie will be giving a presentation, “Writing a Book Is Like Making a Quilt: Common Threads in the Creative Process” on Thursday, November 20th, at Eastside Quilters meeting, held at Cross of Christ Lutheran Church, 411 156th Ave NW, Bellevue, WA. Vistors are welcome to attend.

Doors open at 9:30. The meeting begins at 10 and Marie’s presentation will begin at approximately 10:30am.
