The Best Grilled Turkey Burgers

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • ½ cup chopped sweet onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 T chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp Kosher salt
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • ½ tsp fresh ground pepper
  • 1 egg
  • 1/3 cup panko bread crumbs

Instructions

  1. Place all the ingredients into a medium to large sized mixing bowl. Mix ingredients together well with clean, bare hands and a wooden spoon, until mixture is well combined and ingredients are evenly distributed throughout.
  2. Form mixture into four equally sized patties. Place patties onto a tray, cover with plastic, and allow to rest in refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before cooking.
  3. Preheat grill to 450 degrees (lightly oil grill beforehand if concerned about sticking). Place burgers onto grill, close cover and allow to cook for 4 to 5 minutes. Flip the burgers, add a slice of cheese if desires, and grill for an additional 4 to 5 minutes, until the interior temperature of the burgers reaches at least 165 degrees.
  4. Remove cooked burgers from grill and serve on toasted bun your favorite condiments.
