Easy Chimichurri Sauce Recipe

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 bunch parsley, roughly chopped
  • 3 T chopped fresh oregano (or 2 tsp dried)
  • 4-5 large garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 2/3 cup olive oil
  • ¼ cup red wine vinegar
  • 1 tsp Kosher salt
  • ½ tsp pepper


Instructions

  1. Chop parsley and oregano. Mince garlic. Mix together in a small bowl.
  2. Stir in oil, vinegar, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper into the herb mixture. Serve immediately or store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week. Can be frozen for up to 3 months. See post for storing and freezing instructions.
